I'm having a problem.... On the DVD after burn, it only has one file... readme.txt that contains the following:
"This disc contains a "UDF" file system and requires an operating system that supports the ISO-13346 "UDF" file system specification."
When I try to boot from that DVD, the computer freezes... what's up with this???

Andre,
I think my iso may be damaged from the download. When I extracted it, there was only a readme.txt file.... none others.... guess it's back to downloading! :-(

It's no big deal... already at 15%. I left it on my download manager... so it's downloading at 775 KB/s... not too shabby! *fingers crossed*

You're kidding, right? You do know you can't just burn the ISO file to a DVD, you have to use software such as Roxio to recreate the original DVD structure.

I had this exact condition using Roxio Easy CD Creator 6.0. What I did to avoid a re-download was: 1.) Use IsoBuster to extract the DVD and Bootable Image a.) LB2CFRE_EN_DVD b.) BootCatalog.Cat c.) Microsoft Corporation.Img 2.) Manually create a bootable DVD-R using the .Img a.) Add the BootCatalog.Cat module 3.) Load the contents of the extracted LB2CFRE_EN_DVD 4.) Name the disk appropriately 4.) Burn the Disk This is a generalized set of instructions. I would have to go back and look at my notes for any additional steps/options.

Noooo - it's because you're using a ISO utility which doesn't support the correct type of ISO that the Vista download is - it's quite possible that it's actually a healthy ISO image :o)
Here's a getting started guide: http://www.vistabase.co.uk/welcome.php?getstarted (server might be a bit slow)
